Greg Shenkman offers tips to accessorize your guitar

This is a sponsored guest post written by Greg Shenkman on behalf of Greg Shenkman. Post powered by Sponzai.

If you are looking to accessorize your guitar this holiday season, Greg Shenkman has a few suggestions.  This noted guitar aficionado has been writing about his experiences as a guitar player and has offered many tips, suggestions and personal experiences relating to the world of guitar playing.  Take his recent review of the Luthier’s Choice triple pack from Gibson, for example.  With real world knowledge of the products and experiences, these tips and tricks can be extremely helpful.

The Luthier’s Choice triple pack from Gibson is a convenient grouping of products that includes a four ounce bottle of high-gloss polish, a four ounce bottle of string cleaner and lubricant, and a four ounce bottle of fret board conditioner.  This package of essential guitar merchandise has everything you need to maintain your guitar.  The string cleaner is especially advantageous, but not everyone has had the chance to use it.  This is why Greg Shenkman introduced the product to his readers recently.

If you have never used string cleaner for your guitar before, Greg Shenkman makes a good case for trying it.  The guitar player wrote that he had never tried it before buying this triple pack; he would simply replace his strings when they appeared dull.  But this takes time to go to the store and to do the restringing once you get them home, and money to buy the strings every time.  With the string cleaner in this Luthier’s Choice triple pack from Gibson, however, it is possible to restore the original brilliance of the strings.  It removes dirt and other buildup so strings can last much longer.  And with the lubricant and fret board conditioner, you have everything you need to keep your guitar in good working order.

Whether you have a legendary guitar like the Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus or a simple startup guitar like the Fender Squire, it pays to take care of it.  Having good advice such as these tips and tricks from Greg Shenkman on the best products to buy can make a world of difference.

bebe

I love "bebe". I love their clothes and accessories. I used to shop their items at outlet mall for Japanese buyer since they do not have an official store in Japan. Usually, some of the items did not make it to the buyer because I always find something I would love to have.
Sometimes they have great sales.

kgb_

I think I will give it a try to kgb_.
I did sign up for "ChaCha" looooong time ago but I haven't done the work since. I am surprised that they haven't terminated me yet. I am still able to log in.
Well, kgt_ sounds much more better than ChaCha. It is getting popular. They even have some TV commercials. As you can see, they are fast-growing company.
It sounds like a lot of fun!

Ready for Christmas?

This year I told myself I would not go out for shopping everyday like I did last year. I am committed to online shopping this year. So I need to start looking around. I need to find out who has a biggest sale or who has the useful coupons. Because some of you may know some online stores offer very good deal or pretty bad ones. There is a new site called sale.com which you can find the best deal from different stores just a click away. I need to shop smart this year.

GAO Payment

It is true! It is official. I got paid by GAO (Great American Opportunities)!
I started last Tuesday and got paid today! That was pretty fast, right?

I love typing. I love this job. I hated Google Ads Quality job or Internet Assessor by Lionbridge...I hated it!
Their pay was OK but the work was boring to me.

I just don’t have time to go to the store to store and search the design I might like. Most of the times, I get disappointed anyway because I can’t find what I like. I can personalized the cards and even use my family picture!

Family Vacation

It is time to come up with family vacation ideas for next year. The most important thing to be considered with the trip is that we have to find something kids friendly. I had to travel by air when my boys were babies. I wish I had known this website to get all the tips and tricks because I used to hate to go on the road trips with my children. I believe all the information is very useful to the new parents. It will make both parents and babies happy, and we all can have a good time. It will help us to make a choice for airlines, hotels or sometimes destination.

InboxDollars

My earning has just reached their minimum payout which is $30.00. I just requested my payment and became eligible for Gold membership. Yey!

It took for a few month to earn that much but they will send you many paid e-mails. You can do this as an extra when you have some free time.

Won a Prize

I donated some money to the college foundation...and I won a digital video camcorder!
I win some prizes a lot...but you know I wish I could win the lottery...
Well, my son loved the camera. He is trying to upload some video on youtube.

Creative Business Card

I have ordered the business cards for my business before. And yes, I have used their service for free business cards and received my own cards with nice design. How is it possible to order your business cards with discount price? I received an e-mail from our purchasing agent in the office, and I believed it said $46 for 250 cards…I don’t know where he is going to order them from, but I need to stop him! I don’t want anyone to miss out this great deal. We can get 100 cards for only $3.95! We need to save as much money as we can to save our company.

Security Problem

Do you know how easy to get someone else's information? I know a school where they release the students' information without their consent.
If you pretend that you are mother of someone and demand your child's transcript, the school will release it to you without checking anything. All you have to do is kicking and screaming.
Unbelievable...I can't believe the school administrator would release the information...

Payday

Since I took vacation during the month of August, I only worked for six days. And I still get paid full amount for August. It feels good!
That is why I can't quit my full-time job. If I just work from home, there is no way I could get paid this much just working for six days.
Plus, this job gives me retirement funds, health care and other benefit. There is no way I can leave the place until they fire me.
What can I say, I love my job!
I will continue to keep my other jobs from home because I need all the income I can get.

Commit To Work

I know in this tough economy, everyone has to work harder to keep their jobs...And the company put you more and more since they have to manage all the jobs with less employees.
But sometimes I feel like my employer abuses us...they need to understand we have life outside! If all of us put some extra time to work...I will be fine. But it is just some of us always sacrifice our time not all of us. Good news is that I will be leaving for my vacation next week over two weeks.
I still have to access to our database while on my vacation, but that is OK as long as I can get away from the office.

Skin Care

These are my favorite skin care/beauty products I trust the most. I did not realize both lines are produced by the same company, Guthy Renker Corporation.

As you've seen on TV, it's like a magic. Your skin do get clean. You can get rid of the redness on your cheeks or clear out my skin. I am very happy with the result!

Oh, and this miracle mineral foundation...I tried so many similar products but this is the most effective and comfortable make up that I've ever tried.

Here is my proof.

I like typing. This I can do without getting bored.

Paid to Comlete Offers

I signed up with Cash Crate while back but have not participated the program. But I realized that this program would truly work once you get serious.
I have seen some people who actually make over $400.00 every months. I thinks that is great!

So far, my account balance is little over $30.00. I have a few members who joined the program under me, and they are more serious than I am...they have already made over $10.00...and I got $3.00 credit from each referral.

Yes, if you refer someone to this program, and once they make $10.00...Cash Crate will pay you $3.00 as bonus.

Time Management

My friend made some comment the other day about me..."I can't believe you have time to manage all the jobs you have and children...and even have time to watch all your favorite shows!"
I told her..."I don't sleep...that's way."
Well, I do sleep probably about 5 hours every day. I am getting better with time management over the time. Currently, I have a full-time job outside home, three WAHM jobs while I manage about 4 blogs...
I go to swimming after work about three times a week. I put a few hours to my WAHM jobs everyday. I take my kids to swimming pool every Saturday for several hours. And I do watch my favorite TV shows...I will do multi-task so many things.
Believe me, I do take some time off. Once in a while, I stay home and do nothing.
I rather stay busy.

Bling

My husband has a small collection of Bling Bling Jewelry in his closet. He likes to have his personalized jewelry. He always get compliment whenever he wears his jewelry. It is all right to have a generic designed jewelry, but sometimes it will be nice to have the one designed just for you.

Several Gigs

I was invited to join with iDictate/Quicktate. I have started working for KeyForCash, as well. I have several blogs running. I will see how all of these gigs play out. And maybe...maybe I can finally quit my day job!
How can I manage all of them? I just have to.
Today, I spend about two hours and made $10.00 from KeyForCash. As I get used to the project, I am sure my typing speed will go up.
Minds well, I should keep all the jobs I've got. Who knows I might lose my job one day, and I need to have some backup plans.

Shopping Deal

I love shopping! Between my jobs and kids, I really do not have time to go out shopping these days. Yeah, I would love to go out to the mall once in a while…but let’s be honest, who has time to do that when you work full-time outside, half-time at home, working for several blog project almost everyday and plus deal with children. Plus, you have to be very careful with swine flu…you do not want to be in the crowd. Off course, there is my favorite backup plan for shopping…yes, online shopping. You can do shop smart to save $$$. I always find the best deal on Kohls coupons. I can spend time there whenever I want to find the best deal!

Accepted for Key For Cash

Finally!!!
I just received the invitation. I probably got 99% score on their evaluation test end of last month. I was told I was on their waiting list...
I thought I had to wait another two years or something.
Anyway, I have several gigs in my basket...not sure how I can juggle but...I will do the best I can!

Debit Card

A friend of mine asked me what other option she could have to pay bills online other than debit card...She does not have one. I told her it would be very convenient especially when you want to shop or pay bills online. I suggested her she must have one. Prepaid Debit cards will be the best for her if she can’t get debit card from her bank. There is no hidden fee, no interest charges or even credit check. They can even do direct deposit from your paycheck to your account. I don’t want to carry large amount of cash with me for safety reason.

Happy News

You might think I am an evil person...but I got a news today that my company decided not to hire the girl who has been working as temp...
Yes, I am happy. Because she did not try to work with me.
I was not her direct supervisor, but my job grade was 5 levels higher than hers. I have been working for this company for 10 years. I started out as secretary, then got promoted to technician position, and now I became a coordinator. I worked hard to get to where I am. So, I don't understand why this temp think she should be the same level as me. I haven't done anything to her, but she always had something against me. And she was really good to cover her mistakes. My boss could not see anything wrong with her in the beginning, but people started complaining about her...he started noticing her dark side. But still he thought she could be a good fit in our office.
Well, today...we had another budget cut, and can not hire any new employee. Some of my co-workers were happy, too because they did not like the temp girl.

Key For Cash

As I was reading some posting at message boards everywhere, I came to the conclusion that people would be hired if they get 98~100% score on the evaluation test.
Well, I did score 99% on Last Saturday, and haven't heard anything from the company.

I thought it would be another gig that could help me...but maybe it wasn't meant to be...

New Moon

Ok. I admitted. I was going to watch another teenager movie...but I did. And I loved it. Yeah, I watched "Twillight". I know you did, too.
Now, I can't wait to watch "New Moon".

I am actually Jacob's fan!
It did not work when he turned into a wolf, though.

The Best Web Hosting Service

Free webhosting is OK to the people who are not looking for anything special. But if you are one of those who would love to utilize all the functions and options to expand your small business, you need to find paid-service. It is simple. You get what you paid for. There are so many sites with reviews for multiple domain web hosting. Many webhosting services offer great service with low monthly fee. You will be surprised what you can find.
Let’s say you are thinking about starting your own blog to make some extra cash. It is OK to use free service…it is nothing wrong with that. But if you are serious about making decent money with your blog, you might want to consider using your own domain. That way you will have more options to choose from. You can be very creative and come up with the name which will attract so many readers. Many company offer programs that will help you to get more traffic. Plus, instead of using plain design for your blog, some companies help you to create your own design for your blog. I’ve used so many free spaces before but once I started using the paid webhosting service, I was not able to go back. You just need to do research. You have to study what kind service, option or function you are looking for. And find the best service for you and your blog.

No More Overtime

Since I worked through lunch today, I told my boss I was leaving 30 min. early. Then he goes "you know we have to work one extra hour this week because of the holiday yesterday..."
Then I told him, "Well, I worked a few extra hours over last week and put a few more hours over the weekend...I think I am covered."
You know...I work hard. Sometimes I put some extra hours over the weekend to catch up. But this is it!
I don't get overtime...even I put some more. So I make my own adjustment here and there. He knows I work more than 40 hours.
Well, fine! I am trying to cover his aXX, but forget it. I just do what I can within my 40 hours. I've had it!

Radio Disney

My husband has XM Radio on his car...and I don't. My kids love to ride on his car but no mine. My boys love Radio Disney. I found out about the Radio Disney Concert in New Jersey starting in June through August, and the concerts are free! My brother-in-law is from Jersey. He told me a lot about New Jersey Amusement Parks, New Jersey Water Parks and Wildwood vacations. He recommended Wildwood new jersey motels and Wildwood New Jersey hotels. Or we could go to Jersey Shore beach Vacation that my husband and I might be able to enjoy as well.

The Game

It was on all day on Memorial Day, and I watched all of them. That was all I did.
I let my kids play all day outside in our yard. We have about 20 boys from kinder gardeners to middle schoolers... They all play together. Off course, someone always starts fighting, but usually they are OK.
My husband and I were on our sofa all day. We had a BBQ the day before, and actually I had a hungover...too much margarita.

Bridesmaid

I have just one experience as a bridesmaid before at my sister-in-law's wedding. It looks like I have to do it again for a friend of mine. We have visited a few stores in town, but we were not getting anywhere as far as the decision making process. Then, I have suggested to her to check bridesmaid dresses online. They have so many dresses to choose from. Nobody has much time to shop around the store at the same time. If we visit the same online store, we are actually getting somewhere. I understand the fitting part is very critical, too. But as long as we can find our perfect dress, we will make it fit!

Happy B-Day

Today was my hubby's birthday. He took kids to car show. I could not go because of my other work.
It was a good day for all of us. He had fun with boys, and I had a break.
I baked a sugar-free birthday cake in the afternoon...since he has to watch his sugar.
We will have a BBQ party tomorrow with family and friends.

100Cal Snack

There are so many 100 Cal snacks, but some of them taste yucky...
My favorite one is this...

It is called "Fruit Crisps" from Fig Newton. They are really good.

My favorite is chocolate...I haven't had one for a few weeks now. I try not to think about them.

Sometimes it is so hard to get healthy foods since they cost more...

Switching to Direct TV

We used to use direct TV before we moved to our new house. It was a great service. When we moved, we just wanted to try something new....Yeah, I know...my mistake. We used cable service. It cost fortune.

Direct TV offer the best deal. The packages start at $29.99. It is less than half of the cost for cable service. I am too embarrassed to tell you how much I used to pay...Direct TV offer many more channel than cable service with lower rate. And if you sign up right now, you will get three months of free movies HBO, Showtime and STARZ. How can you say no to that?

I need to sign up with directv right away!

Entertainment

I found myself stressing out by reading or watching news. Too many bad news! I hear every day mother kills her own child, shooting at schools, plane crush, storm disaster or more. It is so depressing.

I feel like it is affecting our daily life. I wish more TV station would report "good news" or at least try to find "better news"...

CampingWorld.com

We bought a house a few years ago, Next, we would like to purchase RV. It does not have to be huge one. We can use it when we go to fishing or camping. I used to go fishing with my husband but I don't anymore.

But if we have RV, I can go with my family. I can just sit back and relax while they are having fun. I can picture myself sitting right there under RV Awnings probably using my laptop while my boys are trying to catch our dinner. We can do more outdoor activities as a family and save some vacation money.

Upgrade Your AC

I remember several years ago, the air conditioning compressor in my car just stopped working...right after I got a new transmission. That was the time I decided to trade the old car. I should go ahead trade in before I put a new transmission.
But it was June...and you know June in North Carolina is really hot. And I wish I had known the places of websites where I could find auto ac parts with reasonable price. I used to order everything through the dealership and pay more than full amount. I could save so much money. Well, I am ready now. It's time to upgrade the AC parts for my car.

24

Have you watched the season finale?
It was so exciting during the whole season...but I was little disappointed with the ending...
Tell you the truth, I don't know if I want to watch the next season...
1st & 2nd seasons were great, but it is not for my blood pressure. (smile)

Cash Back Card

We would love to save even a penny today. There are so many companies who offer cash back credit card, and we should use wisely to save our money. We should take an advantage.

Cervical Cancer Research

It was my yearly check up...The nurse asked me if I was interested helping Cervical Cancer research, and I said "sure".
Just doing that, I received $40.00 Wal-Mart gift card.

Amazon.com

I ordered the used book for my son 20 Apr thru Amazon...but have not received it yet.
I contacted the seller but they said they shipped the book on 21 Apr...
Today is 15 May. I think I am going to ask for refund.
It should not take this long. My son has been waiting for the book...

Flight and Flu

I made a flight reservation to go to Japan in August. I heard they would check at the airport. If there was someone infected on our flight, they would keep you at the nearest hospital for 10 days.
We are planning to stay there for two weeks...but if we have someone who is positive on the same flight...we would waste 10 days.

I am very optimistic about this. I am sure they will find a vaccine by August.

Monthly Income is about $3,000

Is there any gigs that could replace my current day job? My salary is around $3,000.00 from my full-time job outside. I know I might have to work multiple gigs...but I don't mind. If one more person tells me that I should be lucky to have a job, I will snap. Would you want to work for the company who expect you to stay all the time? Not to mention, you don't get paid for over time or comp time...plus, they keep adding new duty on your job description. Then they will tell you that you just have to suck it up and do your job. Your husband/wife start thinking you might be having an affair because you come home late every day.
This is my life right this miniutes.
I can't go on like this.
I will take my vacation in August. I don't care if it's phone job. I will find something. My plan is to leave my day job by the end of October. It will be my 10th year with the current company in October by the way.

Air Fee

A few months ago, the surcharge for the flight to Japan was typically around $400.00. Today, it cost only $68.00. What a big difference!
But the problem is not the price for the ticket...it is the flu.
I heard it's panic in Narita Airport, Japan. They will check every passenger for the flight from United States.
My mother warned me that we might have to spend several hours at the airport when we get there.

I am hoping this situation will calm down...find a vaccine or something.

Mystery Shopping Scam

I received a check for $$3,210.00 in the mail today. It is for mystery shopping. The assignment was to send money through Western Union or Moneygram, and I get to keep $300. The check looks so real.

Let's be honest. Do you think making money is that easy?
I don't think so.

This is clearly a scam.

It was from "Blue Seal Staffing" in North Carolina. I googled it and did not get any result.

I needed to check with my reliable source, Mystery Shopping Provider Association.

Please read carefully under "Consumer Warning".

Vegitable Garden

So, I am thinking about having vegitable garden this year...
I've tried and failed before.
Because it's too hot in summer here. I wanted to grow cucumber last year...and you know they need much more water...
Well, since I wasn't home during the day and did not have those fancy automatic sprinkler, my plant did not make it.
This year, I will purchase the sprinkler. And I am fully committed to do this project.
I would like to have Japanese cucumber and tomatoes. It should not be so hard, right?

Got A Job

I passed their exam with Lionbridge, Internet Assessor position. I did not think I would pass but I did. I will be busy again.
I need all the extra income I can get. I am getting readi to purchase the plain ticket to go to Japan this summer. I will go home during the most expensive season, but I have no choice.
As you know I do have a full-time job outside home. But who knows what will happen in the future. I need to have a backup job.
I know you have to work harder to keep your job, and I know I would do my best to keep my job...but I am not going to put too much over time for my full-time job. Although they expect us to work longer hours...Actually they expect us to stay at work all the time even on weekends. Well, I am sorry but I can't do that. I have a life outside. I've seen so many people got sick over their work for stress. I refuse to be one of them. I still keep looking for the perfect job for me.

Lionbridge

I am supposed to receive the exam material for the position from Lionbridge today. I have applied all the positions everytime they had an opening. In the past, I have received the e-mail from them with "You are unsuccessful for the position." I have never taken the exam thru them before other than screening test.

I hope I can pass the exam...but if not, oh well...

Wish me luck!

Oh, and if you are interested, please visit their website. I am not sure if they are still hiring, but the job posting is still there.

* Please understand I won't be able to answer your questions regards to this company or position. Please contact the company directly.

Canon Research Group

This is one of a mystery shopping program. I just signed up.
Usually, they want you to go out for shopping. Well, this one you can shop online.
They want you to do online shopping. I love this program.
If you paid for S&H for free trial products, they will credit the amount back to your paypal account in a few minites! How cool is that?

I finished two projects and got paid $21.00 for them.

It is legit, and I will recommend anybody.

There is other options for payment other than paypal.

I signed up for this program on 7 Feb 09. My earning has finally reached to $10.00 which includes $5.00 bonus...
It took for a while to get to this point. And yes, some of you want to know if it's worth doing it.
I would say yes. It's better than nothing!!
I did not spend much time to do anything on this program. Just clicked on the e-mail they sent me and answer some questions on survey they occasionally sent to me.

Is It Possible?

So, I tried the phone job or Google Ads Quality Rater. You know these companies can fire you in a minite, and they don't even have to tell you why. They will pick people to work for them like some type of lottery numbers.
I am getting a little tired with the company like this.
Is there any other way to make some extra cash?
I probably won't quit my day job for my retirement account or some other benefit, but it will be nice I will have some other way to bring extra cash to home...However, I do not want another committment.
I am working on two paid to blog programs actively. And I am also trying for a few paid to read programs just to see how much I can make.

I will report my income on this blog.
I noticed some blogs which report their income on their blogs, but they just did not look real to me since they only had a few post about their income even thought they posted their so-called proof...

This is my experiment. I am going to blog about the programs I join and how much I get paid from them.

PayPerPost

I became a member of PayPerPost last year. Their pay has dropped dramatically last few months, but I can spot some good ones time to time. You just have to check periodically. Since I was laid off for Ads QR by WFL, I started getting more serious about blogging. If you like to write, why not making some money doing it!?

As of 24 Feb 09, my total payout from PPP is $178.67.
